The iSis provides high speed, easy-to-use chart reading for printer profiling, while the i1Pro allows users to profile scanners, cameras and displays, measure ambient light and take spot color measurements. A choice of either ProfileMaker 5 Publish Plus or MonacoPROFILER Platinum provides professional software for creating profiles, customizing profile charts, editing profiles and managing color measurements.
Users benefit from high-end color management by being able to predictably reproduce color on all their devices, from input to output. There are clear benefits for those customers who need to color manage their proofers, create profiles for presses, manage groups of digital or large format printers or use many different types of printing inks, media or other consumables. X-Rite’s i1iSis line captures no-filter and UV-cut filter data in a single chart measurement cycle, eliminating the need for multiple cycles to measure multiple data sets. The i1iSis line automatically initiates measurement when paper is fed into the device and optional barcodes can be used for further efficiency with automatic chart recognition. The i1iSis family also recognizes and supports more paper formats, allowing the devices to measure long charts (up to 66 cm) or up to 2,500 color patches. The use of LEDs (light-emitting diodes) for illumination reduces the need for lamp replacements. X-Rite’s i1 Color software is the basis for spectral color communications throughout the entire workflow.
The i1iSis was recently awarded Best Color Management product of 2007 in the software category by the European Digital Press Association.
